As a Personnel Decisions International Intern in Melbourne, your main responsibilities would be:

  • Candidate Care – test administration, scoring and norming data etc.
  • Research – provide research support to consultants, project coordinators and the sales team in a number of key areas related to organisational psychology.
  • Administrative assistance – provide admin assistance to office staff, including proofing documents, printing & photocopying, binding, laminating etc.
  • Various projects which will enable you to develop skills and knowledge of real world business applications of your Psychology skills.

The selection procedure will consist of:

1. Completion of an Application form.
2. Invitation to participate in group psychometric testing
3. Telephone or face to face Interview

All successful applicants must commit to volunteering one day per week for 6 months (August 2009 until February 2010) and be able to attend a practical training day the week prior to the program beginning.

The program is designed for 3rd and 4th year Psychology students, or if you have recently completed third or fourth year and are looking for experience. Unfortunately, students who are undertaking a Doctoral or Masters Program are ineligible. Please note, you must be an Australian citizen or hold a Working VISA to be able to apply.
